Is there a planned integration of an easy to use mining application within the wallet?

You mean like other wallets have ?

The problem with that that you only mine with your CPU and you can hardly change any settings with that.
I would rather use CGminer (AtiCards) or CudaMiner (GforceCards)

The best thing about these miner software is you can monitor your Temperature and set alarm points to ensure a long live for your GFX Card =)

Can CudaMiner be used with other graphics cards as well or only Geforce?

Here is a list that might be useful?  I dug it up out of the Bitcointalk.org archives, but since Bitcoin is primarily dominated by ASIC mining now, this is more useful to Script based miners like us.

If you compile the source, or use the new Linux binaries, they have a built-in miner that makes use of minerd.

The Mac and Windows versions don't have that though I believe...
