Little update everyone!

I realise that for some people (probably most!) these binaries won't work. I'm not surprised. There's a ton-load of dependencies required before you can use. Stupidly, I forgot to write down these dependencies while compiling them, and as a result I'm not entirely sure what's needed. However, I'm going to be getting it working on a VM soon, and I'll get a solid list of instructions to get this thing working on most major Debian/Ubuntu-based systems at least.

Sorry for any inconveniences - If you have enough time, and you're ok with Linux, it shouldn't be too hard to work out what dependencies you need with the help of Google :)

UPDATE

After some careful thought and thorough research, I have decided to attempt building a fully-blown cross-platform wallet. Fastcoin will, of course, be my intended target although I may build variations for other similar currencies.

If anyone wants to help, or has a larger amount of experience in crypto-currency inner-workings, I would be grateful. Please contact me at [email protected], Skype: zesterer, Twitter: @jsbarretto.

If anyone would like to donate to help get the project started and keep my concentration going, that would also be gratefully accepted. Please donate to: fvJ1J7fCJpXMmUfLFTdLK4hRPGpmtSgfvQ via Fastcoin, or 15hCd2nS5JyHUGydtJJkemTJnNpupzYjJC via Bitcoin!

Thanks,

Use the current link if you so want. I promise to alert you guys should it ever change ;) It's dropbox, so it's a direct download, and quite fast too.

HOWEVER, that being said - I'm still improving the packages, so the link might change. I'll be sure to update you when I have an 'LTS' stable version ;)

Well, I think that is better to wait until the package is completed and tested.  So tell me when it is finish, please.  No hurry... :)

UPDATE!

Now at version 0.4, which uses the most cutting-edge and up to date version of fastcoin-qt. I've added a slackware package for those who use Slackware or have distributions that support neither DEB or RPM packages.

I've also added a taster link to my up-coming wallet client called "Coinchest" - don't expect much yet though, I've barely finished the basic frontend boilerplate code :D
