Error when compiling the client :S
« on: December 09, 2013, 06:52:49 PM »
I'm trying to compile the client on Linux (elementary OS 0.2 Luna, Ubuntu-based)

I'm getting this error:

Code: [Select]
g++: error: E:MinGWliblibws2_32.a: No such file or directory
g++: error: E:MinGWlibliboleaut32.a: No such file or directory
make: *** [fastcoin-qt] Error 1

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks,

Zesterer

I'm trying to compile the client on Linux (elementary OS 0.2 Luna, Ubuntu-based)

I'm getting this error:

Code: [Select]
g++: error: E:MinGWliblibws2_32.a: No such file or directory
g++: error: E:MinGWlibliboleaut32.a: No such file or directory
make: *** [fastcoin-qt] Error 1

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks,

Zesterer

Or just checkout and compile the lastest branch from here Fastcoin-8.5.1

Not sure if this is of any help, but maybe the Litecoin Linux client might have some useful clue's we could use?

Thanks for the great suggestions!

I've managed to find a fix by patching together a few bits and bobs from the litecoin client, and it all seems to work excluding pool mining (An issue with minerd's libraries), but that's fine - I use cgminer.

Many thanks for all your help,
