If by any chance you wish to mine Fastcoin or any other scrypt based coin this is the tutorial.

.Finding a good mining pool if you go to Fastcoin.ca and go in mining pool section you will find a list of almost all fastcoin mining pool.

.Downloading the latest pooler's cpu miner and you windows version . Link to the latest cpu miner for all Os. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=55038.0

.Extract the files then open the cpu miner folder create a new text document and save it as FstCpuMiner.

.Open the newly created FstCpuMiner file.

.Copy and paste this command into the newly created file. minerd.exe -a scrypt -t CPUCores -s 6 -o PoolWebAddress:PoolPortNumber -O UserName.MinerName:MinerPassword

.Replace cpu cores with the amount of cores you cpu has.

.Replace poolwebaddress with the pool you chose to min in.

.Replace port number with the port number from you pool.

.Replace username with your username you created in a mining pool.

.Replace worker name and worker password with the name and the pass you gave your worker.

.After doing all of this you should have something like this minerd.exe -a scrypt -t 4 -s 6 -o stratum+tcp://fst.zabmail.ru -O FstCpuMiner.1:x <----- don't copy this as this is not a real account on this pool and  you will get error messages on in the miner.

.Go to File > Save As

.Change Save as type to All Files

.Name your file FstCpuMiner.bat and click save.

open up FstCpuMiner.bat and you will start mining Fastcoin enjoy
