" -salvagewallet switch" ? what does it mean?

Add that to your fastcoin.exe shortcut target properties. It starts by moving the wallet.dat to wallet.timestamp.bak and extracts the keypairs and master keys into a new wallet.dat.
It then soft-sets using the -rescan switch to recreate transaction history.

I am missing coins sent to my address they show as they are in my wallet on the block explorer but they are not in my wallet & I'am fully synced will this method work for me? Also can you explain clearly exactly how to do the salvage wallet command as it not seem to work for me
do you put it after the fastcoinqt.exe'? a sceen shot would be great!

Have you ever made a backup copy of your wallet.dat file?

Below, you'll see an example of the -salvagewallet switch. Simply right click on your fastcoin-qt.exe shortcut icon on your desktop and place -salvagewallet after the .exe
